Welcome to Pack 161!

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family.  In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Cub Scout Pack 161 in Niwot, Colorado welcomes girls and boys, kindergarten through 5th-grade from Niwot, Boulder County, Longmont, and surrounding areas.

Activities & Meetings

The Niwot Cub Scout Pack 161 program is family-oriented and fun! We hike, camp, march in parades, participate in service projects, and above all, have a great time!

For those who enjoy building and designing things, we have our annual Back-To-School Rocket Blast-off, Pinewood Derby (racing scout designed and crafted wooden cars), and Raingutter Regatta (racing miniature boats powered by scouts blowing on the sails) races.

The pack (all age groups) meets as a whole once a month for large activites and meetings and each den (a single-grade group) meets once or twice a month to work on advancement requirements and other focused activities.
